How I saw them...

1969 - Minha nomeação era em Neves-SGonçalo e ia com frequência ao Rio de Janeiro, tanto a passeio quanto a trabalho. Da barca de Niterói fui em direção à Av. Rio Branco naquela manhã e vi passarem em carro aberto o astronauta Neil Armstrong e outros que pisaram na Lua. Viver perto do Rio ofereceu-me muitas oportunidades de ver gente VIP.

1969 - My appointment was at Neves-SGonçalo and I frequently went to Rio Janeiro, both for leisure and on work. From the ferry in Niterói I headed towards Av. Rio Branco that morning and saw astronaut Neil Armstrong and others who stepped on the moon pass by in an open car. Living near Rio offered me many opportunities to see VIP people.
