Terceira vez hospedado no Jaffa Gate Hostel, 

um amigável e bem situado hostel!

Third time a guest at the Jaffa Gate Hostel,

a friendly and well-situated hostel!

Lembrei-me de caros amigos que se hospedaram

comigo nas duas vezes anteriores.

Here I remembered  dear friends who were guests at

the two previous times.

Bem perto do nosso hostel, visitamos 

 a Torre of David/ Palácio de Herodes.

Very near our hostel, we visited the 

Tower of David/ Palace of Herodes

Domingo cedo, fomos ao culto na Igreja

Anglicana, chamada de Igreja de Cristo,

com centenas de pessoas.

Early on Sunday, we attended the service

at the Anglican Church, called Christ Church,

with hundreds of people.

No café da igreja, a genealogia de Jesus Cristo, desde Adão e Eva.

At the café of the church, the genealogy of Jesus Christ, from Adam and Eve..

Na tarde de domingo fomos ao Yad Vashem, o Museu do Holocausto.

At the Sunday afternoon, we went to Yad Vashem, the Museum of Holocaust.

Enquanto meu neto o visitava por longas horas, eu limitei-me a visitar somente o Jardim dos Justos entre as Nacões - gentios que ajudaram judeus durante o Holocausto - por ter visitado o museu completo outras vezes.

While my grandson was visiting the museum for long hours, I only visited the Garden of the Righteous among the Nations - gentiles who helped Jews during the Holocaust - for having visited the museum another  times.

Uma das maiores árvores em homenagem ao heroi sueco Raoul Wallenberg.

One of the biggest trees dedicated to the Swedish hero Raoul Wallenberg.

Árvore dedicada a Oskar Schindler e sua esposa.

Tree dedicated to Oskar Schindler and his wife.

Da Holanda, a árvore dedicada a Corrie Ten Boom, a seu pai Casper e à sua irmã, Elisabeth, que morreu no campo de concentracão.

From Holland, the tree dedicated to Corrie ten Boom, to her father Casper and to her sister Elisabeth, who died in the concentration camp.

Alugado um carro, fomos para o sul, Masada e Mar Morto,  e depois para o norte, para Tiberias, à beira do Mar da Galiléia também chamado Quinerete e Tiberíades.

Having rented a car, we went to Masada and Dead Sea and then to Tiberias, by the Sea of Galillee, also called Quineret and Tiberiades

Seguindo uma tradicão pessoal, fomos ao restaurante, à beira do mar, onde servem o famoso "peixe de São Pedro".

Following a personal tradition, we went to the restaurant by the sea where they serve the famous "San Peter's fish".

Com muita fome, antes de orar e comer, fotografamos um ao outro.

Very hungry, before give thanks and eat, we took a picture of one another.

No último dia, fomos para Jaffa City, por ser perto do aeroporto de Tel-Aviv, onde comemos em um restaurante jordaniano à beira do azul Mar Mediterrâneo.

At the last day, we went to Jaffa City, near the Tel-Aviv airport, where we ate a brunch in a Jordanian restaurant by the blue sea of Mediterranean.

Para aguentar a viagem, nada como o Voltaren Forte!!

Voltaren Forte, a good emulgel to face the long travel.

... E, naturalmente, dinheiro no bolso!

... And, naturally, money in our pocket!

Longas horas no aeroporto de Tel-Aviv, esperando nosso embarque.

Long hours at the Tel-Aviv, waiting for our departure.

No anúncio, a surpresa de 2 graus Celsios na Finlândia!!

Pendurei na parede do meu escritório.

I hung it on my office wall.

O preceito da vestimenta com franjas tem o propósito de associá-lo à consciência: vestimentas de quatro cantos são usadas como lembretes das obrigações, como se lê em Números 15:38-41 “(…) E será para vós por tzitzit e vereis e lembrareis todos os mandamentos de Deus e os cumprireis
