TIMO-MATTI HAAPIAINEN é um pastor luterano, mas quando o conheci, logo que cheguei  à Finlândia,  era um estudante de Teologia na universidade. Sua ligacão com o Exército de Salvacão vem de seus avós, que eram oficiais finlandeses. Timo-Matti casou-se com uma linda mulher, descendente de franceses, portanto seus dois filhos falam o finlandês e o francês.

TIMO-MATTI HAAPIAINEN is a Lutheran Pastor, but when I first met him, as soon as I arrived in Finland, he was a Theology student at the university. His connection with the Salvation Army comes from his grandparents, who were Finnish officers. Timo-Matti married a beautiful woman, of French descend, so their two sons speak Finnish and French.

Nossa amizade vem do início, de quando iniciei um Coral Gospel, e pude contar com a ajuda dele, um cantor e músico excelente. Na foto, o velho Paulo e o jovem Timó-teo!

Our friendship comes from the beginning, when I started a Gospel Choir and I could count on his help, an excellent singer and musician. In the photo, the old Paul and the young Timo-thy!

Hoje em dia, Timo-Matti canta no coral Jakaranda, com músicas estilo afro.

Nowadays, Timo-Matti sings in the Jakaranda Choir, with African-style songs.

Como eu, ele gosta de aviões e montou um da TAM para mim.

Like me, he likes airplanes and assembled a TAM model for me.
