Golda Meir, who became the Prime-Minister of Israel in 1969, was born and grew up in Kiev, in the Jewish Quarter, near Synagogue.

I also sung in Portuguese a chorus known by the congregation.

 

O Exército de Salvação começou seu trabalho na Ucrânia em 1993. Há 9 Corpos (Igrejas) localizados através do país - Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Donetsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Pisochin, Vinnitsa, Lviv e vila Nove. O Quartel da Ucrânia está localizado em Kyev.

The Salvation Army began its ministry in Ukraine in 1993. There are 9 corps located across Ukraine – Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, iv e Donetsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Pisochin, Vinnitsa, Lviv and village Nove. The Headquarters of Ukraine Division is located in Kyiv.
